Company registration, VAT details, insurance position, commercial scope and consumer procedures must be confirmed before this document is treated as final.
Returns, Conformity and Legal Guarantees
Effective date: Effective upon commercial launch
1. Withdrawal returns
Where a valid withdrawal concerns goods, the consumer must return them within the applicable legal period and handle them only as necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
2. Return costs
The consumer may be responsible for direct return costs where this was clearly disclosed before purchase, unless Systems Studio agrees otherwise.
3. Refunds
Refunds will be processed within the legally applicable period. Systems Studio may be entitled to wait until goods are returned or proof of return is supplied.
4. Legal conformity guarantee
Consumer goods are covered by the mandatory Belgian legal conformity guarantee. This guarantee is separate from any optional commercial guarantee.
5. Defects and remedies
Consumers should report suspected non-conformity promptly with the order reference, description, photographs and other relevant evidence. Remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or termination where the statutory conditions are met.
6. Exclusions
The legal guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorized alteration, incorrect installation by the customer, normal wear or external causes, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
