Security Principle
Each client keeps control over their own exchange account. API access is configured for platform connectivity and should be limited according to the client onboarding instructions.
Coinbase API Setup
To connect a Coinbase account, the client creates API credentials inside Coinbase and provides the required credentials during the secure onboarding process. These credentials allow the platform to read portfolio data and, where enabled, interact with the account according to the configured subscription and runtime controls.
Create Coinbase API Credentials
The client logs into Coinbase, opens the developer/API section, and creates a new API key for AITP platform connectivity.
Apply Restricted Permissions
API permissions should be limited to the required platform functions. Client accounts should never expose unnecessary permissions.
Secure Onboarding
The client credentials are added through a controlled onboarding flow. The platform then verifies the account connection and dashboard visibility.
Dashboard Activation
Once connected, the client receives access to portfolio monitoring, live market information, and operational runtime status.
Instructional Video
A step-by-step onboarding video will be added here later. The video will explain how to create Coinbase API credentials, configure permissions, and activate the client dashboard.

Important Client Notes
- AITP is software infrastructure, not a promise of profit.
- Trading and crypto exposure involve financial risk.
- Clients remain responsible for their own exchange account.
- API keys must be created, stored, and managed securely.
- Paid subscription access requires legal onboarding and accepted terms.
This page is informational and part of the Systems Studio AITP platform structure. Subscription terms, legal onboarding, Coinbase permissions, data handling, and client responsibilities must be finalized before commercial activation.
