Floor Heating Option

FERMACELL
Infloorboard Heating Concept

Concept page for explaining dry floor-heating board systems used in renovation projects, especially where low floor build-up, fast installation and PAC low-temperature compatibility are important.

Purpose inside PAC + Solar Study

The infloorboard concept is used when the client wants floor heating but cannot easily install a thick wet screed. It can be evaluated as a renovation-friendly dry floor-heating solution connected to a BEMCO PAC heat pump system.

Technical Points to Verify

Floor build-up heightAvailable height from structural floor to finished floor level.
Thermal transferHeat-transfer layer, board conductivity and tube contact quality.
Tube routingLoop path, bending radius, spacing and collector position.
Floor finish compatibilityTile, parquet, laminate, vinyl or other finish constraints.
Hydraulic balancingLoop length, flow rate and pressure drop before connection to the manifold.
PAC temperature regimeLow-temperature operation target to improve COP and reduce electrical consumption.

Deliverable

Systems Studio can include the infloorboard concept in the PAC + Solar technical study as a floor-heating option, with layout assumptions, LoopCAD support, pipe routing logic, collector position and cost-estimation preparation.

Final product selection, installation method and warranty conditions must be validated with the actual FERMACELL supplier, installer and manufacturer documentation.

Infloor Radiant Heating Documentation

Reference documentation for radiant floor-heating design and installation options, including Infloorboard, Concrete, Therma-Floor / Gypcrete, Radiant Trak, tubing, manifolds, hydronic calculations, tube layouts and LoopCAD design support.

This external PDF is used as technical reference documentation. Final system selection, installation method and warranty conditions must always be checked with the supplier, installer and manufacturer documentation for the actual project.
